Lindberg are absolute junk. I am now on my fourth pair because the first three failed in various ways. Overpriced and underperform.

What would you recommend as the thinnest and lightest lens for the very frames you are wearing there? Is it Poly Carb 1.6... or Trivex 1.56? I've also heard of Omix? Or something like that from Varilux. For a low prescription, which lenses "disappear" the most on one's face... and you virtually don't feel them or see them?

I have Lindberg frames and they are far and above the best frames I've ever owned after nearly forty years of frames. They are the only frames I can lie down on my side and read and they're still comfortable.

Hi, is it true that 100% titanium has low shear strength and that is why other brands have it alloy for frames so it won't be brittle and break? I am thinking of getting a Lindberg frame but lots of forums have stated that their bridges have broken quite easily.

This is very true , they are best glasses I have ever owned, I wear my glasses everyday . I absolutely love them.
